Winter Blues Pulls Down Builder Sentiment, Worries NAR

According to Realtor.com, new homebuilder confidence is down two points in the NAHB’s Housing Market Index, mainly attributed to record snowfall.

The National Association of Realtors has been calling on home builders to construct more houses.

“A persistent lag in new home construction will lead to faster home price growth, which will negatively impact housing affordability,” said Lawrence Yun, chief economist at NAR.
