One in Five Homeowners Consider Their Homes Unhealthy

A survey conducted by Houzz of 800 homeowners found that one in five of them considers their home unhealthy, the NAR reports.

According to the respondents, the top concerns that gauge a home’s health are moisture, air quality, cleanliness, air quality, grounds safety, and soil quality.

Homeowners responded that new homes gave the perception of the healthiest homes, having no allergens or mold and limited instances of insects and rodents.
