The NAHB surveyed builders in January 2015 to rank the most significant problems the industry expects to face in 2015.
On top of the list, is the cost and availability of labor, which 68 percent said they expected to face this year and 61 percent said they faced already last year.
Next on the list were building material prices at 66 percent, rising from 58 percent in 2014. Another problem near the top of the list was the “regulation of banking/financial institutions,” mentioned by 61 percent of the builders this year.
