Homeowners Are Warming Up to Solar Panels

Numerous studies have shown that U.S. households are willing to pay more for a home with photovoltaic energy systems.

Since the beginning of this decade, residential solar facilities prices have cut in half as solar-powered homes become more widely accepted. But its popularity varies greatly by region.

According to Nautilus Solar CEO Jim Rice, solar power is now normal in California, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Nevada. Meanwhile the Midwest still has a way to go in adopting solar energy.
