The NAHB’s quarterly survey of the Remodeling Market Index found that the most common job performed by NAHB Remodelers in 2014 was bathroom remodeling.
But at 78 percent of remodelers saying they did bathroom remodeling, it only marginally topped kitchen remodeling, with 77 percent of respondents.
The two categories were significantly higher than all the others on the list. Other projects that made the top five are window and door replacement (45 percent), whole house remodeling (43 percent), and room additions (35 percent).
