They might not be trendy, but three mid-size cities are the best options for middle class families, according to a study.
Real Clear Politics presented a report by the Chapman Center for Demographics and Policy and found that Des Moines, Iowa, Madison, Wis., and Albany, N.Y. scored the highest, based on factors like housing affordability, migration, and income growth.
New York and Los Angeles were among the worst cities for families, based on the same criteria.
