One household in The Hamptons converted their garage into a 650-square-foot spa with a sauna and steam room, complete with a main area with pine walls and a wood burning fire wall.
The home spa of children’s book author Patti Wheeler in Snowmass, Colo., has a “steam shower for about 10 people, a vitamin D infusion booth, a chromotherapy tub whose water turns an array of colors, and equipment for microcurrent, microderm, and oxygen facials.”
