NEW: Super Sessions
Sometimes, more is better. When it comes to Super Sessions, this is absolutely the case. We’ve transformed three of our most popular IBS sessions into super-charged educational experiences.There will be one Super Session each day of the show, focused on either design, sales, or business practices and economics. These 2- or 2.5-hour presentations will include mini sessions that feature video highlights, interviews, audience activities and more.

Pre-Show Master Workshops
Master Workshops immerse you in critical industry topics to provide best practice strategies and solutions. These 3-hour intensives offer advanced-level content on Monday, Jan.30, the day before the official start of the show. Regardless of registration type, all IBS registrants can purchase a seat in a Master Workshop.
Exhibit Hall Education
There will again be two hands-on, how-to demonstration/building zones at IBS on the show floor focusing on construction performance and craft building techniques. These education sessions are included with an Expo Pass.
Performance Demo Zone
This demo zone will provide attendees with industry-best expertise for building more durable, efficient, higher-quality homes—from basements, wall systems and roofs, to use and types of materials, construction speed and cost. We’ll bring together an unprecedented collection of experts to present our demonstrations and talks. Ben Bogie, a second-generation high-performance builder from New England, and Josh Salinger, founder of Birdsmouth Design-Build in Portland, Ore., will lead the demos and will be joined throughout the week by a host of leading builders and industry influencers from across the country.

Craft Demo Zone
This new zone will feature a variety of 30-minute interactive demonstrations highlighting best practices, tips and how-tos in craft building techniques and skills. While our Performance Demo Zone focuses on the larger structural and performance-related aspects of construction, this new zone will explore the details, updates and finishes that complete a home. Expert craftspeople Aaron Butts and Walt Tomala will lead our demonstrations and will be joined by a variety of industry-leading builders and influencers such as Jon Hilgenberg, Joe Cook, Dr. Decks and more. It is a must-see for builders, specialty remodelers, trade contractors and craftspeople interested in skilled techniques.
