In July 2023, manufacturer James Hardie, which produces fiber-cement home siding and exterior products, introduced the "Hardie Honors" rebate program to honor local heroes for their dedication and sacrifice. The program provides firefighters and other first responders with exclusive rebates on Hardie siding and trim products. That rebate program is now being expanded to include members of the U.S. Armed Forces, veterans, and Gold Star Families, according to WFMZ-TV 69 News.
In addition, to show its support for veterans and members of the U.S. military, James Hardie is also launching "The Military Salute" sweepstakes. This giveaway, which runs from Nov. 10 through Dec. 10, 2023, provides members of the U.S. Armed Forces, veterans, and Gold Star Families with the opportunity to enter for a chance to have their home re-sided with Hardie siding from the Magnolia Home | James Hardie Collection.
