LiftMaster Garage Door Opener for Entry-Level Homes

Garage door opener brand LiftMaster says its new 8010 DC is a contractor-series LiftMaster Garage Door Opener that is designed for builders of entry-level homes.

“The new LiftMaster 8010 gives builders the opportunity to offer entry-level homebuyers a value-priced opener backed by LiftMaster brand quality,” says John Villanueva, vice president and general manager of residential access solutions.

Powered by a DC motor, LiftMaster 8010 features a square steel chain/cable rail, soft start/stop for smooth operation, and a one-button remote control. Security+ 2.0 radio technology reduces any source of interference and increases the range of the unit, the company says.

The 8010 also accommodates one 60-watt light bulb and has a 45 percent smaller ceiling footprint than other LiftMaster garage door opener Contractor Series.
