During the International Builders' Show (IBS) in Las Vegas, the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) announced the product winners of its seventh annual Best of IBS Awards.
The panel of 31 independent judges selected from more than 300 product entries in nine categories, as well as the overall Best in Show award, discerning products or product lines with the best combination of design, function, innovation, and utility for consumers and builders. Buddy Hughes, NAHB Conventions and Meetings Committee Chairman explains, "Judges evaluated an impressive array of more than 300 product entries in nine categories up for consideration for this year's Best of IBS Awards," adding, "The competition was fierce, but these winners truly represent the best of the best in terms of innovation, design and functionality of the products going into today's homes."
The National Association of Home Builders is a Washington-based trade association representing more than 140,000 members involved in home building, remodeling, multifamily construction, property management, subcontracting, design, housing finance, building product manufacturing and other aspects of residential and light commercial construction. NAHB is affiliated with 700 state and local home builders associations around the country. NAHB's builder members will construct about 80 percent of the new housing units projected for this year.
