The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) recently launched a new mobile app aimed at promoting safety in residential construction. Available on both Apple and Google Play, the NAHB Jobsite Safety Handbook app provides builders, contractors, and other industry workers with tools to identify and follow safe work practices. To do this, the app includes resources, such as the full NAHB Jobsite Safety Handbook, more than 50 safety video talks, interactive quizzes to test safety knowledge, and more.

This app covers the main safety issues residential builders and trade contractors need to focus on to reduce worksite accidents and injuries. Information is meant to provide a basic guide to understanding and conforming with the federal safety and health requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Act and OSHA standards and regulations.
