According to Green Building Elements, the largest Passive House structure in the U.S. is under construction in Hillsboro, Ore., a suburb of Portland.
The structure, called Orchards at Orenco, is a 57-unit residential building being built by REACH Community Development, a non-profit developer dedicated to lowering overall living costs for residents.
