The International Builder Show returns to Orlando two winters from now, and by the time it arrives, an 8,000-square-foot, net-zero, $4 million home built by Florida’s Phil Kean Design Group will be ready for its close-up.

Located in Lake Nona, Fla., the New American Home is a one-story house with large hallways and apartments, according to the Orlando Sentinel. It will demonstrate "pod living," where unused rooms can be closed off. It will have plenty of glass doors and windows, and it will include indoor/outdoor spaces.

The International Builder Show brings in more than 50,000 attendees, and 7,500 people are expected to tour the New American Home.
