Fine Homebuilding reports that the third of three cohousing neighborhoods on a 175-acre tract of land in Ithaca, N.Y., is nearing completion.
The neighborhood will have 40 apartments, duplexes, and single-family houses, all of which have sold before construction began. Seven of the homes in the neighborhood are certified by Passive House Institute U.S., garnering it the title of largest passive-certified single-family home cluster in the country.
