Knauf’s new system combines its EcoSeal water-based elastomeric sealant with either its EcoBatt or Jet Stream Ultra Premium Blowing Insulation. EcoSeal fills in the seams of a home, drying into a flexible, tough film with high bond strength. It features high ratings for air leakage resistance, sound transmission, and fire and smoke. EcoBatt is a bio-based insulation product, combining post-consumer recycled glass with renewable resources such as sand.
