7 Exciting New Kitchen + Bath Products to See at the 2018 AD Design Show

The AD Design Show has always been a hot spot for high-end furnishings and furniture, but the annual event is now a place to see kitchen and bath product premieres.

This year’s show, which is scheduled for March 22 to 25, promises not to diappoint pros interested in kitchen and bath products. One of the highlights of this year’s show is the Refresh pavilion, which show organizers says is one of the largest collections of kitchen, bath, luxury appliances, and premium building products in North America.

Featuring introductions from more than 75 companies, Refresh will offer new technologies and state-of-the-art designs in kitchen appliances and cabinetry, bath, decorative hardware, countertops, stone, tile surfaces, doors, and more. This year’s exhibitors include Artistic Tile, Aster Cucine, Cesar NY, Dacor, Jenn-Air, Miele, Porcelanosa, Rocky Mountain Hardware, Rohl, and Sub-Zero and Wolf, among others.

Here are seven new introductions you should see at this year’s edition of the show:

 

Aster Cucine

Aster Cucine says the Factory Collection of cabinets is a postmodern take on large unused spaces. The roots and origins of the materials—corten, oxidized steel, stone, and specially aged reclaimed wood—creates a transitional. 

 

Bosch Appliances

Launched in January 2018, Bosch’s black stainless steel kitchen suite helps guard against scratches and fingerprints.  The manufacturer sasy suite combines contemporary style with innovative features to help simplify life for consumers. 

 

Providence Art Glass

The tangerine banded blown wall sconce adds colors to bathrooms, kitchens, or powder rooms. Hand blown in Rhode Island, the fixtures are wrapped in a thick clear band to add dimension and depth, the company says.

 

Cesar New York

Cesar New York’s kitchen cabinet line features silk-effect Titanio lacquer, Rovere Termocotto Base units, and doors with “Inside” grip edgings in silk-effect Titanio lacquer. The countertop is Dekton by Cosentino.

 

Sub-Zero/Wolf

Part of the Sub-Zero/Wolf family of high-end appliances, the new Cove luxury dishwasher brand has three adjustable racks, 41 jet sprays, three spray arms, and led interior lights.

Thermador

The Freedom Refrigeration Collection by Thermador includes refrigerators, freezer, and wine columns that allow designers to install them anywhere in the kitchen. Available in sizes ranging from 18 inches wide up to 36, the collection now comes with the company’s Connected Experience by Home Connect, which facilitates capabilities such as Sabbath Mode, Temperature Change, Door Open Alarm, Super Freeze, Super Cool and Vacation Mode. 

 

Wolf

Because the popularity of sous vide cooking is growing, Wolf created the vacuum seal drawer featuring a chamber-style design can accommodate dry ingredients or liquids. Adjustable settings allow fragile foods such as spices to be preserved without damage. It has a stainless steel exterior.
