Bath fittings manufacturer Duravit USA has launched its first faucet collection in the brand’s 103-year history.

Building on the brand’s offerings in the bath, the new collection includes the C.1, B.1 and B.2 faucet series as well as the brand’s universal range of shower systems, tub sets, and accessories. The C.1 series, designed by Kurt Merki Jr., B.1 and B.2 series, designed by Duravit’s in-house team, offer a range of solutions for washing, “toileshing” (bidet faucets), bathing and showering, the company says. Duravit’s range of showerheads, hand showers and rough plumbing components including its BlueBox, have been designed to pair universally across Duravit’s suite of products.

“We are thrilled to launch this new category for Duravit as it is one of the remaining pieces to offering a complete range of products,” says Tim Schroeder, president of the brand’s North American division. “Adding faucets and fittings to our portfolio of ceramics, furniture, bathtubs and wellness products, we now have even more solutions for the full suite. With complimentary design languages, these new products offer a balanced pairing to all residential, commercial and hospitality Duravit baths.”

Created in partnership with Kurt Merki, Jr., the C.1 faucet series is defined by its straightforward design, fit for all co contemporary bathrooms with a range of available sizes, handles, and valves. The C.1 series assumes a natural composition with its ceramic counterparts, the company.

“Comprised of faucets for washing, toileshing (bidets), bathing and showering, the C.1 range leads with an understated simplicity to have a defining influence on the bathroom,” Duravit says. “Environmentally friendly, the C.1 faucets are water-saving with low flow volume (less than 1.2 gpm), and include thermostat and pressure balancing with scald protection. C.1 faucets match all modern, architectural and linear bathroom series from Duravit. The C.1 series also includes a showerhead, thermostatic shower trim design, and a pressure balance trim diverter featuring the same design language as the faucets.”

The collection’s B.1 faucets lead with soft contours. Offering ease of use and a universal range, B.1 faucets are available for all standard applications: washing area, shower, bath and bidet. For the washing area, B.1 designs have an adjustable aerator to reduce splashing.

Last in the collection, the B.2 faucet series is defined by clear, linear lines. Providing an ideal form for bathroom users who appreciate clarity, reduction and simplicity, B.2 designs help to create a timeless bathroom aesthetic, Duravit says. “Simple geometric lines across the washing area, showering, bathing and toileshing solutions, these faucets are suitable for all Duravit ceramic and furniture ranges.”

The C.1, B.1 and B.2 faucet series are complemented by Duravit’s fittings that include shower systems, tub sets and rough plumbing solutions. Duravit’s Universal accessory range, comprising showerheads, shower arms, hand showers, shower rails and rough plumbing components (including the Duravit BlueBox), is designed to be paired with any of the brand’s ceramic, furniture, wellness and faucet solutions.

The showerheads are available in a circular or square design and in various sizes with accompanying shower arm options that range in length, design language—curved or linear—as well as wall-mounted or ceiling-mounted installation choices, the company says. “Hand showers are available in a circular or linear design, and the thermostatic valves are available in size variations and thermostatic bath trims are available in a square or circular model. Tub sets come in configurations for both freestanding and enclosed bathtubs. Duravit says its BlueBox is an ideal valve for all concealed faucet solutions and is a flexible internal component that is easily adjusted for variable wall thickness, placement of hot/cold water lines and positioning.

“Duravit considers the bathroom to be a holistic space, and therefore designs products with the purpose of combining them,” the company states. “This very exciting category debut for the brand is another step in completing its offering of the entire bathroom suite for residential, commercial, and hospitality application. The overall design harmony for which the brand is known is certainly grounded within the Universal range of accessories and new faucet series: C.1, B.1 and B.2.”
