Lighting manufacturer Sonneman has unveiled a new biophilic collection that mimics the look of river stones and natural movement.
Light from the LED bulb is emitted through layered gaps in the textured white metal panels, creating a soft diffusion of light. The Abstract Panel sconce adds texture to walls while the Abstract Rhythm pendant brings in light from above.
“Driven to discover new insight and to test boundaries, our creative process achieved a new wave of sculptural expression,” says founder Robert Sonneman. “In our pursuit of technology-driven design, we took functional decorative to a fresh aesthetic with new forms and materials.”
Panel is offered in three sizes: 11 1/4 inch with two plates, 14 1/2-inch with two plates, or 18-inch with four plates. Rhythm comes in three different shapes: a 25 1/2-inch horizontal, a 32-inch horizontal, and a 21 1/2-inch vertical configuration.
