Roof Truss Support by FastenMaster

FastenMaster’s steel TrussBrace promises a faster, safer alternative to temporary wood-based supports commonly used to install roof trusses, according to the company. By providing lateral and diagonal restraint, TrussBrace roof truss support lets framers set, space, and brace roof trusses in one easy step without buckling, thereby increasing jobsite safety and boosting productivity by eliminating the need for temporary top-chord bracing that must be removed prior to installing sheathing. Thermal Insulated Sheathing by LP Structural Solutions

LP NovaCore Thermal Insulated Sheathing is the most recent addition to LP Structural Solutions’ products portfolio. The sheathing features a continuous extruded polystyrene foam layer between indoor spaces and the outdoor elements, delivering a higher R-value than standard sheathing, the company says. The panel’s dual-layered design is engineered to minimize thermal bridging and energy loss, making a home’s structural shell more energy- and cost-efficient. The panels are sized for standard 2-by-4 wall-framing configurations to enable easier and faster installation and are cut and fastened using standard practices and tools. Click for more info

Carlisle Spray Foam Insulation's More Environmentally Responsible Option

As more states continue to prohibit the use of HFC (hydrofluorocarbon) blowing agents in spray polyurethane foam insulation, ultra-low global warming potential (GWP) alternatives are gaining popularity. The second generation of Carlisle Spray Foam Insulation's (CSFI) hydrofluoroolefin (HFO) technology, SealTite Pro HFO, is a more sustainable, environmentally responsible spray polyurethane foam, the manufacturer says, that complies with all state and federal environmental regulations. CSFI says SealTite Pro HFO was developed to be easy to use and consistent in its performance and sprayability in all types of conditions, resulting in a smoother, more consistent spraying experience with less fallout resulting in less waste and greater jobsite efficiency.
