Tired of your truck tires and those of your subs getting punctured on the jobsite? BFGoodrich Tires feels your pain. In March, the manufacturer launched the BFGoodrich Tradesmen Support Program, offering discounts on tires, as well as roadside assistance and towing services, among other benefits, to more than 30 million construction industry professionals.

The program features BFGoodrich’s All-Terrain T/A KO2 tire, “Our toughest all-terrain tire,” says company spokesman Phil Watson, citing independent reviews that find BFGoodrich’s tires tougher than its competitors’ and, he says, “less susceptible to punctures on jobsites, leading to less downtime related to tire issues.”

Members of participating trade associations, including the National Association of Home Builders, The Associated General Contractors of America, and the American Subcontractors Association, are eligible for a $100 discount on an All-Terrain T/A KO2 tire set at participating dealerships. Nonmember trades are eligible for a $70 tire discount.

The program also includes a 30-day satisfaction guarantee test-drive period, two years of roadside assistance and towing for up to 150 miles, and chances to win VIP access to racing events such as SCORE Baja 1000 and the Mint 400. Watson says the roadside assistance and towing aspects do not conflict with other services a contractor may have, such as those from the American Automobile Association.

“We realized that many tradesmen need tires that can perform on pavement, unpaved jobsites, or rough gravel roads,” Watson says. “We also realized that no other tire brand has made an effort to be a part of the skilled trades community.”
