Fiberglass Windows and Doors / Integrity by Marvin
Integrity windows and doors are made with Ultrex, a patented pultruded fiberglass that outperforms vinyl, rollformed aluminum, and other fiberglass composites, the company says. The finish is third-party verified to AAMA’s 624-10 specifications and performs so well that the Integrity line is offered in dark colors, such as Ebony, without fear of increased heat loads, UV degradation, or fading. It won’t crack, dent, chip, or peel, and is virtually maintenance-free.
Folding Glass Doors / Solar Innovations
Residential folding glass walls with accordion-style or bifold doors from Solar Innovations can be set in nearly any part of a home. Glass partitions are hurricane impact-rated in select areas, including Florida, and can be used in interior applications, as well. All residential folding glass walls are made with aluminum to prevent warping and rot, minimizing the need for maintenance. Low-E glazing helps boost energy efficiency.
Decorative Glass / Masonite
Three new decorative glass offerings— Cruz, Focus, and Double-Water—were created by door manufacturer Masonite to complement 2018 design trend forecasts. Cruz glass (shown) suits the urban trend—smooth, sleek glass and clean lines coordinate with concrete, metal, and industrial components. Focus glass works well with the modern-farmhouse style, with frosted and clear glass adding dimension. And, paired with the Mediterranean aesthetic, Double-Water glass gives the appearance of water.

The 400 Series is Andersen’s most popular and is now available in custom sizes.
