Faster sales in February drove price gain, which has led to bidding wars in some cities, The Denver Post reports.
Home prices in Denver jumped 10 percent, the highest in the nation. It was followed closely by San Francisco, which experienced a 9.8 percent jump. Denver and Dallas are the only cities in the nation where prices have surpassed their peak during the housing boom.
