Debuted at the 2009 International Builders' Show, Serious Materials' EcoRock green drywall uses 80 percent less energy in its production than most other drywall. EcoRock also uses 85 percent post-industrial recycled content and is fully recyclable. According to the company, using EcoRock instead of gypsum drywall would eliminate up to 20 billion pounds of CO² emissions per year in North America.
