From Feb. 8-10, more than 1,200 exhibitors will put their products and services on display at the Orange County Convention Center during the International Builders’ Show and Kitchen & Bath Industry Show, in Orlando, Fla. A Fresh Approach to Bathroom Fittings and Controls From Kohler

Kohler’s Statement Collection of fittings and Anthem Collection of valves and controls aim to reimagine the experience of taking a shower, the company says. Statement’s fittings (Vibrant Brushed Moderne Brass finish, shown) marry the latest technology with craftsmanship and engineering, while Anthem controls—in a choice of mechanical or digital (shown) platforms—personalize showering with precise temperature, volume, and spray adjustment, and preconfigured hydrotherapies. Prep Table With Storage and More From Danver

Launching at IBS 2022, the Prep Table from Danver Stainless Outdoor Kitchens is equipped with under-table storage and optional hidden induction cooking capabilities. Designed by architect, designer, and Danver creative director Daniel Germani, the Table can function as a kitchen island or workspace in outdoor kitchen areas. The countertop induction surface, produced by Invisacook, provides a cooking solution for small spaces or where a grill may not be practical.

New Zip System Sheathing Tape From Huber Engineered Woods

Rounding out Huber Engineered Woods’ portfolio of straight and stretch tapes and fluid-applied flashing solutions is its Zip System Vapor Permeable (VP) Tape, which offers added permeability over standard flashing tape, the company says. The high-performing professional tape is used in panel seam sealing and flashing applications—key components of Zip System wall assemblies that use Zip System integrated sheathing. VP tape's higher perm rating is ideal for teams seeking a specific permeability in their designs or in specific environments. Zip System VP Tape is available in 3.75-inch by 90-inch rolls.

Louisiana-Pacific Smartside Siding Corners

LP SmartSide Trim & Siding’s exterior building solutions now include SmartSide Outside Corners to take curb appeal to the next level, the company says. SmartSide Outside Corners create a sleek, polished corner look while also helping to eliminate the need to build corners during construction, boosting jobsite efficiency. This latest accent offering in the LP SmartSide line is available in cedar texture for a deep cedar-grain aesthetic, is pre-primed for better paint adhesion, and comes in 16 ExpertFinish colors.

Huber Engineered Woods' AdvanTech Premium Subflooring

As the latest innovation from Huber Engineered Woods’ subflooring brand, AdvanTech X-Factor is a new class of premium subflooring with a fade-resistant, water-shedding surface on a high-performance engineered wood panel. With a built-in protective top layer, the manufacturer says it takes the moisture-resistance home builders expect from an AdvanTech panel to the next level and pairs it with AdvanTech subfloor adhesive for a Squeak-Free Guarantee. The built-in, water-shedding top layer provides a distinctively smooth, even, premium subfloor surface that the company says is marker-friendly and easy to clean.

A new siding addition to the LP SmartSide portfolio of products, LP SmartSide Smooth Panel Siding has a no-groove square edge to accommodate a variety of aesthetics. From timeless historical exteriors to more modern looks, LP SmartSide Smooth Panel Siding is designed for easier use in channel applications with advanced durability to help hold up against extreme weather conditions including moisture, hail, freeze/thaw cycles and up to 200 mph wind gusts, the manufacturer says.

Louisiana-Pacific Legacy Subfloor Adhesive

LP Legacy Premium Sub-Floor Adhesive is the newest addition to the LP Structural Solutions portfolio. The adhesive expands to create a tight seal in small gaps between subfloor panels, and one 29-ounce can of adhesive provides up to 12 times the coverage of a typical tube of conventional subfloor adhesive, the manufacturer says. The 100% solvent-free building solution is VOC-compliant, is backed by a squeak-free lifetime limited warranty when used in LP Legacy Premium Sub-Flooring assemblies, and meets the toughest construction adhesive standard, the manufacturer says.

Trex Fastener Installation Tool for Composite Decking

The Universal Fastener Installation Tool from Trex is an innovative handheld tool the company says will reduce installation time for composite decking by up to 50%. Utilizing a nose cone to ensure the bit hits the fastener head, along with a unique drive angle, the lightweight tool allows the installer to fully actuate and tighten the fastener in one step and easily slide the next board into place. The tool also features a user-friendly rotatable handle and integrated bit holder.

New Ice Machine Model From True Residential

True Residential’s new and improved 15-inch Clear Ice Machine is the latest model revision to grace the brand’s line of luxury home refrigeration. The unit includes a range of feature updates, including an articulating, soft-close hinge, magnetic scoop that affixes to the inside of the door, and a touch-sensitive capacitive interface. This ice machine uses natural hydrocarbon refrigerant and has a bin capacity of 28 pounds, producing an industry-leading 85 pounds of ice per day, all while using 16% less water and being 30% more energy efficiency than the previous model.

Hearth & Home Technologies' Brand Integration

Hearth & Home Technologies will integrate its Stellar Hearth Products gas fireplace business with its Heat & Glo brand, enabling architects, interior designers, and home builders to seamlessly specify premium and custom luxury fireplaces for their projects. Stellar Hearth Products will become an endorsed brand, known as Stellar by Heat & Glo.

Huber Engineered Woods' MgO Cementitious Panels

Huber Engineered Woods’ Exacor magnesium oxide (MgO) cementitious structural panels are manufactured to provide a streamlined solution that’s quick to install and can eliminate the need for gypsum underlayment. Made primarily of inorganic materials reinforced with layers of glass-fiber mesh, the panels are dimensionally stable and suitable for subfloors, subfloor underlayment, and now for wall applications in multifamily and light commercial projects, the company says, offering strength, fire resistance, and sound absorption.

Dometic Launches New Line

Dometic, a leader in mobile living solutions, is launching its new business line, Dometic Home, at this year’s Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS). Dometic Home incorporates a host of products catering to indoor and outdoor residential living, including MoBar (shown below), a mobile solution for chilling, preparing, and serving beverages indoors and out that is offered in three models, from a simple cart design to an extensive set of integrated products.

Double Waterproofing Linear Drain Kit From Infinity Drain

Infinity Drain’s latest innovation in linear drain technology, the FCB series, is equipped with double waterproofing protection so drains can be installed with both standard waterproofing and liquid or fabric sheet waterproofing materials and methods. The FCB series is a complete drainage kit that can be used with a variety of waterproofing methods and includes a range of grate styles.

SimpliFire Electric Fireplaces

The electric fireplace category is seeing significant growth as homeowners seek efficient, accessible home heating and design solutions. SimpliFire’s products provide a variety of design options, from the Scion Trinity (shown) with its floating mantel and choice of three-sided, corner, or single-sided styles, to a simple 25-inch fireplace insert. The fireplaces can enhance any space and are easy to install, the manufacturer says.

Fresh Quartz Surfacing Options From Silestone by Cosentino

Silestone by Cosentino presents two new collections, Ethereal and the quartz surfaces and engineered stone industry’s first completely carbon neutral collection, Sunlit Days (Posidonia Green, shown). Both use Silestone’s proprietary HybriQ+ technology during manufacturing, which the company says uses 99% recycled water, 100% renewable electric energy, a minimum of 20% recycled raw materials in the products’ composition, and significantly less crystalline silica while maintaining Silestone’s legacy of performance and beauty.

Fiber-Cement Siding

This year at IBS, James Hardie’s Architectural Collection will make its national debut. The cladding, which features an integrated solution of textured panels and metal trims, is a new category in home exteriors the manufacturer says is intended to enable professionals and homeowners to modernize home exteriors with contemporary claddings suiting a range of house styles. Launched in May 2021, the panels are currently available in select markets in three textures: Hardie Smooth Sand Panel, Hardie Multi-Groove Panel, and Hardie Knockdown Panel, all of which will be available nationally in early 2022.

Thanks to innovative touchless technology, Legrand’s radiant Wave Switch lets you turn lights on or off with a wave of your hand for a germ-free light switch solution. Made with an adjustable range, the internal sensor responds to movement anywhere from 1 inch to 6 inches from the switch face. Available in 15-amp and 20-amp versions.
