The Xi foundation system consists of precast concrete walls with steel stud facings and 2.5 inches of continuous Dow insulation. The system improves upon the insulating power of the company's original R-5 system by 150%, Superior says. The wall panels are factory-made to the builder’s specifications, shipped and positioned by a crane on site, where they are locked and sealed together.
