According to Proud Green Home, the deployment of solar energy in the U.S. grew at an unprecedented rate from the end of 2004 through the end of 2014.
The numbers come from a video report released by the Solar Energy Industries Association. The reports says that in 2004, there were 500 megawatts of solar energy installed nationwide. By the end of 2013, there were 20,000 megawatts, enough to power more than 4 million homes.
