In the latest update from Albert Cummings, one half of the building duo (alongside his wife and partner Christina Cummings) behind The House That Blues Built, the Massachusetts contractor shares a quick tip to not only help with jobsite organization but also with maintaining a good relationship with subcontractors.
In short, Albert precuts.
"Headers, jacks, cripples, sills—I precut pretty much everything in the house just so when teh frame crew finally arrives I'm ready for them," says Albert. "I made a whole master spreadsheet where Ive got all the listings of where each part and piece goes. It makes life easy."
