Priceonomics conducted a study on how often Zillow appears in search engines when people type in homebuying-related phrases.

Using phrases such as “Atlanta real estate,” Priceonomics saw that Zillow appears at the first spot 53 percent of the time and as the second spot 34 percent of the time. When it comes to a search of mortgages, the website ranked first 43 percent of the time, far above the second place company which only ranks in the top spot for 3 percent of searches.
