A smorgasbord of gadgets and devices are popping out of tech companies to make sure everyone who spends a lot of time outdoors can still stay connected to civilization. “Some people love to get away from every form of technology when they are outdoors, but I think it adds to the enjoyment,” 63-year-old outdoor enthusiast Geoff Gafford told the Wall Street Journal. Savvy inventions for an escape to nature on the market today include a portable washing machine, a stove and charger, underwater headphones, and portable internet connection.
