Building products manufacturer AZEK has introduced six new architecturally significant surrounds that are made from its composite trim material.
“Drawing inspiration from architecture archives and its diverse trim collection, AZEK designers have created a series of classic window and door surrounds to enhance any new build, repair or remodel project,” the company says.
The single-structure, pre-milled profiles eliminate the task of milling the pieces on the job site or in the shop. Each piece in the collection is fabricated with varying shadow-line compositions, visual weights, and widths, then matched with complementary sill profiles to give each surround its own persona, the company explains.
Builders and remodelers simply refer to the company’s brochure for direction on which profile goes with the others to form surrounds of varying architectural styles.
The “easy-to-follow brochure” outlines all the AZEK Trim and Moulding profiles needed to achieve one of six styles: Historic Rams Head, Stateside, Double Cross Head, Historic Back-Band, Clean and Simpl, and Crowned Bandit.
