James Hardie Acquires Azek

In a deal valued at $8.75 billion, building products manufacturer James Hardie is acquiring Azek, a manufacturer of outdoor living products. According to an announcement from Azek, the combination of James Hardie and Azek brings together two companies with complementary product offerings for the exterior of the home. With their products now spanning siding, exterior trim, decking, railings, and more, the combined company will provide a comprehensive exterior products solution for both homeowners and contractors.

Together, James Hardie and AZEK provide a full-wrap and complementary solution for the exterior of the home, offering beautiful, resilient, fire, pest and weather resistant products that are easy to install with reduced maintenance and lower lifecycle costs.
