FEMA offers grants for fire-resistant roofing

The grants are for residences and commercial buildings in areas at high risk for wildfires

Minnesota is using grants from the Federal Emergency Management Agency to encourage homeowners to install fire-resistant roofs.

The grants are for residences and commercial buildings in areas at high risk for wildfires.

Eligible property owners may be reimbursed for up to 70% of the materials and installation of the roof. Each grant is limited to $7,500 per structure.
