H&H Homes, a leading home builder based out of Fayetteville, has been sold to Florida-based Dream Finders Homes. Between both North and South Carolina, H&H Homes is in 10 markets and has closed on 9,000 homes since opening. With the purchase, Dream Finders Homes will expand into the Carolinas. H&H Homes CEO Ralph Huff opened the company in 1991 and believed now was the best time to sell, according to the Fayetteville Observer. In Huff’s own words, he said the best way to maximize a company is to "spread it out and diversify and go into different markets." Though sold, both Huff and his wife will remain associated with the company.

Ralph Huff said he plans to step up the development arm of his operation. "They just bought the actual homebuilding company," he said of Dream Finders Homes. "I'm working on developments now."

Jack Rostetter, president of H&H Homes, will continue to serve as the regional president of the Carolinas on behalf of H&H and Dream Finders Homes.

Currently, H&H has more than 80 residential developments in North and South Carolina. H&H has built more than 9,000 homes since its establishment, Huff said, and projects delivery of more than 1,000 homes this year.
