A small oceanside community in North Carolina is the best spot for married couples.
Elle Decor examined a study from Movoto, which compiled a list of the best cities for lovebirds. Tarawa Terrace, a neighborhood within Jacksonville, N.C., ranked first. Tarawa Terrace, a military community, has the highest percentage of married people (92.9 percent) and zero divorces. Also on the top 10 list are Urbandale, Iowa, Boynton Beach, Fla., and Galena, Ohio.
The study’s methodology was a balance of the towns’ rates of married people compared to the combination of stats for the not-married, separated, widowed, and divorced.
