A recent consumer survey done by John Burns Real Estate Consulting looks at what types of green spaces are preferred by different population segments.
Overall, the survey found that 53 percent of all buyers designer pocket parks, or parks tucked away on small or irregular land plots. For developments for young families, children’s play parks dominated, with 77 percent requesting the amenity.
Dog parks did best near communities without children, while only 29 percent of all buyers preferred a large, central park.
