In My Own Words

"I've found that iLevel by Weyerhaeuser's Structurwood floor panels and sheathing, as well as iLevel's other engineered wood products, are great for green building. iLevel uses wood from sustainable forests and uses virtually every portion of every log in its manufacturing processes, making efficient use of materials."

In My Own Words

"Kitchens and bathrooms are what sell homes. I choose Kohler because I need to know that the fixtures will both conserve water and provide a comfortable, traditional flow. On the appliance side, it is important that energy and water be saved, but not at the expense of high performance."

BASF

Insulating air barrier systems in the attic, crawl spaces and throughout the home is BASF's Comfort Foam closed-cell spray polyurethane foam. Upon application, the foam immediately expands to 30 times its original size to harden and seal. The material will not off-gas and provides an insulating air barrier with an R-value of 6.0. In My Own Words

"Green building starts with having a tight building envelope, and Comfort Foam provides that. For the home buyer, it will reduce their energy costs, and for the builder, it helps you build a more solid home." professional builder 5.2007
