According to a poll conducted by Reuters, U.S. housing is expected to gain steam as the job market strengthens and offsets a drag caused by increased mortgage rates.
As labor market conditions tighten, the Federal Reserve is expected to start raising interest rates later in the year, pushing mortgage rates higher though still less steep than previously anticipated.
