In the first of two webinars about The New American Home 2023, we focus on the home's interior design, including how the home responds to its distinctive site, the use of visual layering, ways in which the design creates indoor/outdoor connection, and more.
About The New American Home
Each year since the program's inception in 1984, The New American Home (TNAH)—the official show home of the annual International Builders' Show—is unveiled to demonstrate the most noteworthy advancements in home building, allowing industry professionals to glean new ideas they can replicate within their own projects. This year's home in Henderson, Nev., continues that tradition, showcasing best practices, innovative design concepts, state-of-the-art building products, and the latest construction techniques.
A principal goal of the program is to maximize housing performance and energy efficiency. Each home incorporates elements from the National Association of Home Builders' Green Building Standard and embodies the highest levels of quality, safety, aesthetics, and sustainability.
TNAH uses a vast array of products from members of the National Association of Home Builders Leading Supplier Council (LSC). In partnership with NAHB, SGC Horizon serves as a media partner for The New American Home and features the products, technologies, and design ideas within Pro Builder magazine.
