Zillow Real Estate Research extracts important takeaways from the October New Home Sales Report.
One key point is that sales have “essentially been flat in 2014,” having fluctuated since January around an average of 434,000 units and only surpassing this level two months this year – May and October. The latter month’s number is a slightly larger increase compared to September’s 0.4 percent increase.
