American Standard Expands its Modern Studio S Bathroom Collection
Bathroom and kitchen products manufacturer American Standard recently announced an expansion of its urban-inspired Studio S Collection, which now offers a full suite for the bath.
This expansion consists of two toilets, modular vanities, above counter sinks, and a freestanding soaking tub. Studio S’s first iteration debuted back in 2017, featuring bathroom sink faucets and one shower system in the same contemporary style.
American Standard says the full-suite collection can now be a “one-stop shop” for creating a high-quality, long lasting modern bathroom.

“Studio S was designed to catch your eye and offer the everyday functionality consumers need for life's busy bathroom, which is seeing more activity than ever these days,” says Gene Barbato, vice president of American Standard brand marketing at LIXIL Americas. “Now that we are all spending so much time at home, we are seeing a desire to make upgrades that are long overdue and turn the bathroom into a haven, a place where you can escape for five minutes of ‘me time.’”
The company says its newly expanded line fits current consumer demand for smaller home improvement projects, such as swapping out a bathroom vanity or bathtub for a simple update.
“The expanded collection allows homeowners to mix and match pieces to fit any style and space, making it easy to find the right products for everything from a full remodel to a quick refresh,” says Barbato.

Consumers can customize Studio S products by selecting one of three finishes: matte black, polished chrome, or brushed nickel. Additionally, the Studio S vanities and sinks are modularly designed so homeowners can create a vanity and sink pairing fit for their exact needs.
These vanities are available in either white or dark gray and feature two deep drawers. Homeowners can either pick a floating, wall-mounted vanity style or purchase the metal vanity leg set. The leg sets are also available in matte black or polished chrome finishes. The leg set matches the overall collection’s minimalist design with a thin, unassuming silhouette.
An optional vanity middle product can be added to combine two separate vanities into a double vanity configuration. The vanity middle can also come in gray or white, but its main material and color is a light ash wood. This middle component adds two shelves of additional storage space and comes with a removable tray.

Vanity sinks can change the overall look of the configuration as well. The expansion allows for the offering of oval above counter sinks and the original iteration offers top sinks. The vitreous china top sinks give the vanity a glossy finish while the new ADA-compliant above-counter sinks would need an addition of a separate sink top material, or Studio S’ walnut or ash sink tops.
The oval shape and gentle curvature of the new above counter sink can also be found in the collection’s newly introduced oval freestanding soaking tub. This tub offers 17 inches of soaking depth and three drain finish options. It is constructed from high-gloss acrylic, which the company claims is UV and stain-resistant, while being reinforced by fiberglass.
Both the Studio S low-profile one-piece and two-piece toilets finish up the collection’s expansion. American Standard calls its tankless, low-profile, one-piece toilet “one-of-a kind.” When flushed, the toilet utilizes the company’s PowerFlo technology, which results in a quiet yet powerful flush.
The right height elongated toilet features a PowerWash rim that cleans the toilet bowl with every flush. Coated in EverClean, the bowl is resistant to the growth of stain and odor-causing bacteria, mold, and mildew, the company says. Trip levers are available in matte black, brushed nickel, or polished chrome just like the rest of Studio S’ offerings.
