Lighter colored wood floors in various textures and washes are this year’s trend, Realty Times reports.
According to the Orange County Register, designers on the West Coast have noticed that as the economy is improving, there is a rise in the demand for lighter tones. Some homeowners opt to have their wood floors washed in white for a beachy effect, others leave them unfinished to look like driftwood.
