Louis Poulsen to Open First U.S. Showroom

Highly respected light fixtures manufacturer Louis Poulsen is set to open its first U.S. showroom in Culver City, Calif.’s Helm’s Bakery District.

Headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, the lighting company has signed a five-year lease agreement for the 2,900-square-foot showroom at the to-the-trade-only Helms Bakery Design Center. The company says the showroom will feature a comprehensive selection of both indoor and outdoor lighting solutions to the architecture and design community.

“We are very excited to provide the U.S. design community the opportunity to see the vast lighting portfolio in person and receive educational information about our designs,” Kent Pedersen, CEO, Louis Poulsen USA, said in a statement. “The Helms Bakery Design Center is an ideal location for us, and we are proud to join the prestigious team of brands dedicated to the trade.”

Poulsen is known for such iconic light fixtures as the PH5 pendant, PH Artichoke, and the Aeros pendant.
