In My Own Words

"We find that our customers really like the idea of a maintenance-free, non-combustible surface. We utilize a lot of interesting colors over the FiberTect primer-sealant, and it gives the house a crisp, clean look. It's a great alternative to cedar in pricing."

Jeld-Wen

The Santa Fe is one of the latest additions to Jeld-Wen's interior door line. The paneled doors emulate solid wood-planked doors and come in a range of wood grain and smooth finishes. The company's ProCore Quiet Door for sound reduction is an option.

In My Own Words

"In our company, we have created a community and product design known as the 'Cottage Collection.' This door in a beaded, solid, MDF product really creates interest among our clients and fits our cottage theme perfectly."

Halquist Stone

Thin veneer natural stone from Halquist Stone is quarried from the Midwest and Arizona, and most lines are available nationwide. The company also carries both Boulder Creek Stone Products and Cultured Stone, a division of Owens Corning. Both product lines include hundreds of precast stone veneers that replicate the variety of textures, sizes, shapes and colors of natural stone.

In My Own Words

"People really like the way we mix up our exteriors. Utilizing thin, cut stone gives us the rich-quality real stone look that cultured just can't equal. We eliminate the need for costly foundation details to carry full stone depth and weight by 33 percent. We also use it in our interiors for dramatic detailing, which was previously a difficult venture due to weight limitations."
