Bocchi, a kitchen and bath product manufacturer based in Turkey, has entered the U.S. market with a line of fireclay farmhouse sinks for kitchens.
The collection responds to an rise in popularity of farmhouse style kitchens, the company says. The apron-front sinks are meant to be a kitchen centerpiece, and are available in colors tied to natural elements. The design of the fireclay sinks features Mediterranean-inspired elements, including carved floral details.
Bocchi Classico
“Our fireclay sinks are designed with this consumer in mind,” says Akgun Seckiner, the president of Bocchi USA. “Our 100% fireclay sinks are made from natural, recyclable material which, due to its high temperature firing, is one of the most durable materials used in sinks today.”
The sinks feature Bocchi’s Super Smooth and Clean Plus+ technologies, which make the fireclay significantly smoother than standard glazed surfaces, the company says. This reduces the ability for stains and bacteria to get into the surfacing.
Bocchi Vigneto
The sinks are available in three different design collections, including Contempo, Vigneto, and Classico. Homeowners can choose from a wide variety of sizes, colors, and configurations. The company has also made its Sotto line of fireclay undermount sinks available to the U.S market.
