For the master bathroom, the builders introduced a curbless shower with a recessed, frameless track for glass doors. Schiffer says the floor is continuous tile that extends into the shower, which also houses a freestanding, flat-bottomed tub. They chose a white and soft grey color palette to decorate the bathroom.

In the kitchen, Schiffer says they installed a stone waterfall kitchen island and used custom cabinetry to maximize the space. One thing that Schiffer stresses is the attention to detail: for the herringbone tile that they wrapped around the kitchen walls, they made sure to line up the tiles so it looked like it was a continuous pattern even when the edges met. Another detail was lining up the floating shelves with the range hood for balance.

The use of hidden custom cabinetry is an important element of the project, Schiffer says. Known for meticulous attention to detail, the NS crew created a hidden custom medicine cabinet for the homeowners to store their toiletries in the master bathroom wall and used cabinets to hide Wi-Fi cables and a kitchen trash can.
