Year in Review: 2015’s Best and Worst Small U.S. Cities

WalletHub looked at 1,268 small cities in the U.S. analyzing housing costs, school-system quality, and number of restaurants per capita to find out which are the best, and which are the worst.

At first place is Princeton, N.J., home of the prestigious eponymous university. The city of 28,572 people took first place for overall economic health and number seven for education and health.

But these benefits come at a cost, as Princeton ranked at number 1,144 for affordability.

At the end of the spectrum is Bell, Calif. In fact, the last 15 spots are all taken by California small towns, most of them within Los Angeles county.
